About Guruzu

Your story deserves a guide.

Guruzu began with a simple idea:what if goal-setting could feel more like a story than a spreadsheet? Every journey starts with a single spark — a thought you whisper into the world.“I want to finally get organized.” “I want to write that book.” “I want to make the team.” “I want to feel more confident.”

In that moment, a guide appears.Within minutes, your voice or text becomes a living plan — eight practical strategies shaped into a story written just for you. Each plan arrives quickly (usually in under five minutes) and grows through conversation, one chapter at a time.

You can talk or text with your guru whenever you need encouragement, clarity, or a fresh idea. But Guruzu is about more than productivity. It is about growth, encouragement, and working together.

Built for Families

Guruzu was created by a founder who has spent over 20 years advocating for children in Washington, DC — representing young people in custody, abuse, and neglect cases.

After two decades of working with families and listening to children’s hopes and struggles, one lesson became clear: Young people thrive when they have structure, encouragement, and someone who believes in them.

Technology's part of every young person’s world. Guruzu was designed to help parents and kids use AI in a positive, responsible way — turning it into a tool for planning, motivation, and meaningful conversations. Parents and children can use Guruzu together to:

• turn ideas into clear goals

• build practical step-by-step plans

• celebrate progress along the way

• learn how to work with AI thoughtfully and safely

Instead of replacing human guidance, Guruzu is meant to support it. Because the most powerful plans are the ones families build together.

Why Guruzu?

Because every hero needs a guide.

And sometimes, more than one. The Guruzu, a mystical treehouse perched in a wandering oak tree (!), is home to a growing cast of AI mentors — each with a personality, a voice, and a unique way of helping people move forward:

• Flint, the resilient squirrel who helps you build consistency

• Muse, the creative raccoon who sparks imagination

• Swift, the driven porcupine who gets results fast

• Breeze, the calm capybara who brings clarity and peace

More gurus are always on the way. Each new arrival offers a different perspective — another way to think about your goals and your story.

Meet the Zukeeper

That’s you.

Zukeeper is the title given to Guruzu members — the lead characters and the true engine of this world. While AI helps shape each plan, it’s the Zukeeper’s goals, decisions, and updates that bring the story to life. You set the story in motion. You steer the conversations. The system only comes alive when you do. As a Zukeeper, you can:

• unlock unlimited chapters and conversations (text, audio, and video)

• track your progress as your plan grows over time

• celebrate milestones and achievements with your gurus, friends, and family

• wrap up completed plans and begin new ones whenever you’re ready

Guruzu may use AI as its framework — but the heart of the story is always human.

How it works

1. You share your goal.It could be a challenge, a dream, or something in between.

2. A guru and their acorn build your plan.Eight practical, story-based strategies appear in minutes.

3. Your story grows. Each update becomes a new chapter, with fresh encouragement and ideas.

4. You reflect and continue.Celebrate your progress and begin your next goal whenever you’re ready.

Our mission

To help people — especially families — turn goals into real progress.

To make planning feel hopeful instead of overwhelming.

To help parents and young people learn how to use new technologies thoughtfully, responsibly, and together.

To replace pressure with encouragement, isolation with community, and confusion with clear next steps.

Because every goal deserves a plan. And every story deserves a guide.
